What does MVP development actually include?

We build the smallest version that lets real users complete the core job end to end, on foundations that will not have to be thrown away. That means one well-built primary workflow rather than ten half-finished ones, real authentication and data handling rather than stubs, and a deployment pipeline from day one. Scope is agreed together, and anything not essential to proving value is deliberately deferred.

Who owns the code and the intellectual property?

You do. Code lives in a repository under your organisation's account from the start, not ours, and infrastructure runs in your cloud accounts wherever possible. We use well-supported open-source frameworks rather than proprietary tooling that would lock you in. At handover you receive the full codebase, documentation and access, and you are free to continue with your own team or another firm.

How is security handled during development?

It is designed in, not tested in afterwards. Because we also do security testing, our developers work with the same threat model our testers use: least-privilege access, parameterised queries, server-side authorization checks on every request, secrets in a managed store, and dependency scanning in CI. If you want independent verification, we can arrange application security testing as a separate engagement before launch.

Can you work with our existing engineering team?

Yes. We work equally as an embedded team inside your process — your repository, your review standards, your sprint cadence — or as an independent squad owning a defined slice of the product. Many engagements start with us delivering one component end to end, then shift to a shared backlog. We adapt to your tooling rather than asking you to adopt ours.
